Two leading scholars of religion and cultural studies, Dr. Cornel West and Dr. Sherman Jackson, discussed the history and contemporary context of black suffering in America from the Christian and Muslim perspectives in a historic and highly anticipated dialogue Monday at Princeton University.

Video of the event can be viewed here.

The event was a culmination of effort by the Muslim Life Program in the Office of Religious Life, the Fields Center, the Center for African American Studies, the Muslim Student Association, the Black Student Union and the Department of Near Eastern Studies.
