You can’t turn on the TV these days without hearing the words Muslim and violent extremism. No shock there. But if you watched CNN today, you heard those two words used together in a new way. As in, “Moderates counter Muslim extremists.” Terrorists and their actions have eroded public opinion of Islam and Muslims. You can’t blame the media for that. You gotta blame the perpetrators, and we’ve got to get serious about it.
