French President Nicolas Sarkozy last month reiterated his stance on the burqa and committed to prohibiting the full covering. A similar burqa ban in Belgium will take affect this month and Quebec approved a ban on the garment in March. These kinds of limitations would not be tolerated in the United States, so should they be tolerated anywhere?
